As many teachers head back to school, I find myself nostalgic for my public school teaching career. I recently wrote how happy I am to be home with Addie. And I am. But, I do look back on the past few years in public schools and I feel so happy. Happy to have experienced what I did; to have learned from colleagues and students; to have laughed so much; and to have hopefully made a positive difference for some children. I wish I would have been better at writing things down... I think I'll write down what I can remember over the next few weeks.
